(October 11) Listen in as Jim Preissler tells that it is too early to begin
slashing estimates for Knight/Trimark in spite of the disappointing
pre-announcement of quarterly results by this market maker. He attributes
much of the shortfall in the quarter to NITE's poor positioning around some
trades made during the summer, and tells under what conditions the company
can recover quickly. Preissler identifies possible market conditions under
which NITE would not be able to maintain its present multiple.
