Perhaps but last time I looked information on explosives is quite legal.
No matter how much some goosestepping LEA may wish it was not so, the 1st
Amendment is still in effect.

Use the LEA's own book "Bombs and Bombing" by Brodey. Available at your local
bookstore.
I wouldn't worry about 'em really. If they're too stupid/lazy to check the
archives or stay awake in high school chemistry 1 they'll be too lazy to
actualy buy the parts and do the work. Besides, they'll probably quit the
first time they burn themselves with the soldering iron. Mommy, I got a boo
boo...
Besides they missed the three most obvious methods (i.e gas & heat don't
mix):
0. make sure gas tank is only about half full.
1. rag stuffed down filler pipe, lite, run like hell
2. nichrome wire stuffed down filler pipe wired to the ignition coil
or appliance/photo timer & battery
3. spark plug (don't forget to ground it) stuffed down filler pipe
Gas fumes are very explosive, you can put a fire out with liquid gasolinee.
