A case for the spin-doctors, it's fast and relatively painless, and I doubt
any great lengths will be gone to in verifying this was actually the problem.

Was lockheed involved with cassini?  considering nasa's blanket assurances
that something of this sort was absolutely impossible wrt cassini, it still
boggles the mind that such a thing was not discovered until it was, if
indeed that is what it was,,,
