Pedophilia is simply the condition, on the part of an adult, of finding
prepubescent minors more sexually attractive than the aforementioned
adult's do-gooder busybody neighbors find them.

Some people who victimize children are pedophiles, some aren't.

In any case, it is one thing to state that crimes are loathsome. It is
another thing entirely to state that certain peoples' feelings and
thoughts, which they may never communicate to anyone, are loathsome.

This being a privacy and freedom oriented list, we tend to frown upon the
invention of new thought crimes, and upon the interchangable use of words
as both the names of psychological affectations and as the names of
crimes.

So do people who think Saddam Hussein should get the Nobel Peace Prize,
or that the Constitution is less useful than toilet paper.

Given that the prison population is composed of the less-bright, it is
unremarkable that they amplify society's predjudices. Racism is worse
in prison too.
