Jack B. Nymble 2.1.i beta is now available as an upgrade pack and full
installation. Upgrading is recommended due to several problems which
were corrected.

JBN 2.1.i is currently available from
http://www.skuz.net/potatoware/jbn2/
ftp://ftp.efga.org/privacy/potato/
ftp://ftp.skuz.net/pub/potato/

Thanks to AnonMail.Net and EFGA.Org for FTP and Web space, and to First
Cut for their European distribution mirror at
http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~firstcut/

Changes to JBN 2.1.i from previous version 2.1.h

  * This version of JBN2 is distributed with SPGP.DLL version 2.2.3.1
(it may be used with the older version as well). This version may
correct the blank keyring problem, end of iteration error, or -1 error
experienced by some users. Please report error codes. If you receive
an error code beginning with "-9", please provide your timezone. Users
of Reliable 1.0.1 or prior should update to Reliable 1.0.2 before
installation of JBN 2.1.i or later.

  * The current JBN installation program places the SPGP DLL in the
program folder. This is done to reduce conflict with other software
while changes to the DLL are introduced. JBN first looks in its
program folder for SPGP.DLL. If it is not present it will then look in
  Windows\System.

  * JBN now identifies DH/DSS keys as "DSA" keys.

  * The Info tab now displays the remailers through which a nym message
arrived. (This feature will be available the next time your nym
account reply-blocks are resubmitted to the nym-server.)

  * Window|Nym Accounts Registry|Key Passphrases now accepts keys with
blank passphrases. A Remove button has been added which replaces the
  previous method for removing passphrases.

  * A Tools|Test Esub feature has been added to the View Mail window to
allow testing of indivudal encrypted subject headers.

  * ISO 8859 From and Subject headers are now decoded in the View Mail
  window.

  * The Add Key From Clipboard function now accepts clearsigned keys (-
  -----), PGP and Mixmaster.

  * Trash Nym Duplicates now stores message IDs for 30 days, increased
  from 10 days.

  * The problem which caused 3DES and CAST passphrases to be added to
the registry in reserved order has been corrected.

  * A correction was made to Nym Book|Edit|Replace Passphrases which
corrects 3DES passphrases being added erroneously.

  * Several corrections were made to decryption passphrase selection.
These mostly effect behavior when passphrases are out of the expected
  decryption order.

  * A problem which caused the wrong key to be displayed in some
decrypted messages should be corrected. (However the analyzation
function in the SPGP.DLL is somewhat unpredictable yet, so verify
results when necessary using PGP directly.)

  * A problem which caused a Run Time error 380 in the Stats Browser
during some proxied access has been corrected.

  * Minor updates were made to the User's Manual and Troubleshooting
  Guide.
