Your wave file may sound the same to your ears but it is not the same.
Even worse, from a stego point of view, is that the original wav file is
widely available so it is pretty easiy to demonstrate that you have
altered the file and likely hidden something in it.
A better place to hide data is in original files - record some greetings
or take some digital images. Use no or lossless compression. After
storing your data in the image or audio destroy the original. Then
'they' will be limited to trying to show that the noise levels in some
of your files are unlike others or don't match what your equipment is
able to produce. A pretty damn tough row to how if you're using original
data and don't try to put too much material into a file.
