Embarrassing?  I thought you were just trying to make the point that
they were using the same "We're Liberalizing This For You" rhetoric
last year that they're using now, and therefore we shouldn't be surprised
if this year's liberalization is no more real than last year's....

I suppose it's possible that you're not that cynical, but it's unlikely :-)
