I'm sure some HW tricks are done with more planned but isn't the easier
thing to do by far to create probe-friendly operating systems? Don't
99.999% of PC's run MS products? It's cheap to implement, reliable(as
the host), easy to update, can store tons of logs on the HD and covers
most cases. Address the exceptions on an as-needed basis.
