At least they can do a subtitled version for the Canadians
(might have to do two subtitles, one in French) translating to
They killed Doofus, eh? You hosers!
I was recently in a Spanish-speaking country, and the TV in the bar
had subtitles for the English-language shows.
(ObCanadianContent: "Due South" dubbed into Spanish, eh?)
The language in the subtitles was milder than the English;
parts-of-speech variants on "malefico" got used relatively often,
and my Spanish is pretty weak, it looked a lot like they were saying
Curses! Hands up, you Bad Guy!
instead of
Shit! Hands up, you Motherfucker!
a lot.
