Spammers are happy to target mailing lists - lets them reach more
potential suckers. Cypherpunks does not have an editor,
and has no plans to get one, but other mailing lists get spam also.
It's harder to spam a subscribers-only-can-post mailing list,
though not that hard, and cypherpunks has a policy of allowing
anybody to post. The negative side effect is that we get spam.
