Much more interesting is a class of short-term memory enhancing drugs, or so called smart drugs. These are injected by the subject immediately preceding the event of interest; be it a scientific seminar, embassy party or other diplomatic affair, closed door
treaty discussion, etc. Best results are obtained when the subject has at least a working knowledge of the event to be recalled. Memory of the event becomes practically photographic, and all aspects of the event can be recalled in rich, intricate and
accurate detail. The advantage of these drugs over electronic devices is that the subject is able to integrate the immediate experience with his working knowledge and concentrate on areas of specific interest. If he is unsure of something, he is immediately
able to pursue a better understanding and remember it precisely. ;-)
