Let me add that I am *NOT* suggesting that Issue Dynamics running a
host FOR bell atlantic is in anyway unethical.

What seems to me to put an ethical question on the table is that
the way they have packaged this effect leads casual network users to
assume that the operation is a bell atlantic controlled and originated
one, rather than one that THEY are running.

Do folk feel that there should at least be norms that strongly urge
all users of the internet to clearly identify who they are?

For example I am not encouraged by the "who is" information sent to me
just now. A net user looking at this would assume that this host
resides in a Bell Atlantic Office at that Washington DC address.
However this address is the address of Issue Dynamics Washington DC
office. Sam Simon is President or CEO of Issue Dynamics. The 408-1400
telephone belongs to Issue Dynamics. I'd be
a lot happier to see Issue Dynamics mentioned in this listing in
such a way that would make the relationship clear.
