I told Bob Steele not to answer my questions privately, that I wanted
public answers. His obscenity to me was itself a message of sorts.
Remember, too, that his original posting went to *many* lists. Me, I
agree with your com-priv suggestion and will follow it if this thread
continues.
Won't belabor things further except to say that I've made clear I'm not
anti-CIA; I just want civilians to set the NII priorities without a
spooky National Knowledge Foundation involved. One detail to clarify your
remark on Dave Hughes, though: he was not involved in intelligence except
at a high level at the Pentagon or something. No CIA-style connections.
Of course if he had them, well, I'd still be open minded :-) Same toward
Ross Alan Stapleton as facts stand now. Thanks for your note!
