I've gotten mostly fan mail. The main exceptions have been you and Bob
Steele. Needless to say, I'm enjoying the ironies. Bob's last message
to me:
"Fuck you, you silly little shit. When you get your head out of
your ass, and have time to read the substantive material I sent
you in the mail, by all means do get in touch, we can start over."
I think the above is a splendid indication of what a spook-style NII would
give us. What better example of the true mindset behind a hidden
tops-down approach?

Here's a chance for EFF to be brave and professional and oppose spookish
involvement in the NII. As I said, Bob's plan would be Clipper X 1,000,000.
His original post--especially the key words that I've repeated two or
three times already--made it quite clear what his priorities were.
Glenn, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. :-) Next time we may
well be on the same side.
