Pagesat is announcing the pro-curement of additional assets and operation of
additional satellite earth station facilities. This expansion will allow
Pagesat to offer capabilities that include satellite coverage into the
pacific rim, South America and Europe on an as needed basis. The facilities
our located in the Northern California Bay Area. The site is co-located
next to and has direct connection to an MCI central office eliminating the
need to use a local exchange carrier. This provides a lower operational
cost in addition to improved reliability.
The hardened 1.8 acre facilities provide the security and reliability
required by any major carrier. Says "Norman Gillaspie Pagesat President" The
entrance facilities include fiber, coax and over 1200 telco twisted pair.
Antennas include 2 9.2 meter and 1 5.5 meter antennas with room
for additional units when required. Backup power is provided by a 150KW UPS
and 2 diesel generators.
Additional co-location facilities are available to paging,internet service
providers and carriers.
Pagesat also provides satellite common carrier services and systems to
Paging, Email and information providers.
