Internet Company Seeking Marketing Partners, Resellers for
its Document Delivery Services on the Global Internet
The Internet Company of Cambridge, Massachusetts is seeking partners to
market and resell its document delivery and retrieval services to publishers
on the Global Internet.
Appropriate partners would include regional networks, shell access providers,
commercial marketplace services, and those companies or individuals with
excellent access to specific market areas.
By supporting the standard information navigation, search and retrieval
technologies available on the Global Internet, The Internet Company offers
publishers numerous ways to sell and deliver product to customers from
professionally managed, well connected service machines. These services
include Gopher, WAIS, the World Wide Web, FTP, Electronic Mail, and the
Usenet News Service.
"We offer a comprehensive set of services designed to meet the needs of both
large and small publishers. And in a very real sense, any company or
individual with information they wish their customers or potential customers
to see, is a publisher" said Robert Raisch, president of The Internet Company.
"By offering our services to select marketing partners or resellers, we hope
to offer a clear opportunity for others to build business on-line by
leveraging our technical expertise. We only do one thing and we do it very
well. We serve information to customers on the Global Internet."
The Internet Company is the premier provider of commercial publishing services
on the Global Internet. A few of its more visible projects include The
Electronic Newsstand and Counterpoint Publishing's Internet Federal Register,
Commerce Business Daily, and Code of Federal Regulations -- delivered daily
over the Global Internet.
--
The Electronic Newsstand of Washington, D.C. provides the full text of
articles from more than 55 national and international magazines and
newsletters -- with 30 more currently in production. A few of the
participating publications are The New Republic, The National Review,
American Demographics, ComputerWorld, Inc., Internet World, and Out Magazine.
Access to the Electronic Newsstand is FREE OF CHARGE to anyone on the Global
Internet through the Gopher information retrieval system -- originally
developed by the University of Minnesota.
--
Counterpoint Publishing of Cambridge, Massachusetts provides access to the
three major publications from the United States Federal Government to its
customers on the Global Internet using Gopher, WAIS, the World Wide Web and
the Usenet News service.
Access to Counterpoint's products is by subscription only.
