I think one of the reasons that "peer review" is continued to be the way
such things are done is because noone has proposed something so much better
that those that care have been willing to endorse it. If Gordon feels he has
such a proposal, he should air it. If he does not, then he is not really
offering anything new and should just note that and move on. To do otherwise
is repetative and as such as waste of everyone's time.
