Oh don't worry Gordon. Nothing new here. A perfect echo of the trouble
the French Aristocracy had with the street folks questioning them
during the French Revolution.
Only difference is, that while we don't have kings and counts anymore,
we *do* have an Electronic Aristocracy which has a little trouble
with this messy thing called electronic democracy and free speech.
And civilization must have advanced some. For no one has to fear the
guillotine. Just the CIX or ANS routing tables, or the Fido Node Lists.
Keep at it. The issue is accountability. And so long as *anyone* serves
officially related to spending tax dollars, they are, and should be,
subject to scrutiny by any taxpayer, online or off. The only thing
that has kept us relatively free is skepticism, and not a little
mistrust of government at every level, and all those officially
associated with them, and the decision-making system they are part
of.
