WELL HERE ARE THE MEMBERS OF THE SCIENCE BOARD, courtesy of a FAX from NSF.
Wonder how these folks will be convinced and educated by Steve? Note that
James Duderstadt, President of the University of Michigan has been a member of
the Science Board since, I believe 1987, and its Chair since November of 1991.
I am told that Duderstadt abstains on any actions having to do with Merit and
the University of Michigan. Some reader of this list ought to do interviews
with these folk. Their perceptions of their policy roles would be quite
interesting.
Oh yes .....note the email addresses. I gotta believe these folk have ones at
their home institutions as well.
