I agree. Here is a list of things that I would rather see the
Internet Society _not_ get involved in:
* group health plans
* "insignia" credit cards
* local chapters
* and, in general, anything else that tends to fill up my US mail mailbox
These are all reasons why I dropped out of the IEEE: I couldn't keep
up with throwing away all that junk mail with "IEEE" in the upper left
corner.... (Since then my city accepts this stuff for recycling, but
that is small consolation.)
