If you go back to the QED archives and the IETF list before the QED
was formed you will find MANY msgs from me on the topic of the
operations and coordination etc. And you will also see thatI was
one of the people who pointed out the need for an operations forum
that addressed the applications (e.g. X.500, etc) areas in addition to
the routing/peering layer. However I was suggesting a completely neutral
meeting place and forum for this to occur. So - I am aware of all the
issues (and have been for some time now) - we just don't see eye to
eye on where/who. That shouldn't make you angry.
