While I am not too happy with the BA/TCI merger types, I think they will
bring $20 per month access to the net. And it may even be less. IMHO, the
way they will do it is offer it to everyone, include unlimited access and
get maybe 30% of their subscribers to take it. Some will be heavy users,
some light, but it will balance out.

Our trick, as providers, is to sell our services to them on a local basis
before they go to the big guys in the networld and buy their services, or
before they develop their own. That's how everyone will win in this game.
If the providers let the RBOCS and Cable get ahead of them, we may as well
close up shop! NOW!. So we have to start getting into bed with our lcal
telcos and cable companies to offer them access.
