ZIFFWIRE PROVIDES PC WEEK AND MAC WEEK NEWS TO
PSICABLE INTERNET SUBSCRIBERS
New York, NY - December 7, 1993 -- Performance Systems International, Inc.
(PSI), the leading Internet access service provider and Ziff Desktop
Information, (ZDI) a leading provider of computer-related information
delivered in electronic form, today outlined their plans to distribute
prominent, widely-read Ziff magazine multimedia content electronically
over the PSICable Internet system via ZDI's ZiffWire electronic news service.
The PSICable service is a multi-megabit Broadband Internet access service for
organizations and individuals through cable television systems. ZiffWire is
an electronic news service that delivers to desktops articles from Ziff
publications - including the full-text news from PCWeek and Mac WEEK
the Friday night before it's published. The PSICable service with ZiffWire
will be first available to subscribers in the Boston, MA area in February,
1994, followed by US wide availability.
ZiffWire provides full text of news stories, feature articles, special reports
and product previews from leading Ziff computer magazines, including: PC
Magazine, PC/Computing, PC Week, MacWEEK, MacUser, Windows Sources
and Computer Shopper.
