you say that you were "offered "Full & Complete CIX Connectivity" ? And let me
add - whithout the paying of any $10K fee ?" And you add that you know that
DIGEX was offered the same benefit.
How could this be possible BEFORE ANS joined the CIX? Seems very strange. From
a technical point of view can you explain how this worked and who controlled the
routing?? Does this have something to do with WHY the CIX imposed the filter on
October 26th? (I welcome comments from anyone with knowledge of these
subjects.)
What is the situation NOW with regard to CIX connectivity for DIGEX and any
similar ANS customer? If they are direct customers, they should have CIX
connectivity now that ANS has joined? However you seem to be saying that they
resell live connectivity and routing to others. By the definitions of the CIX
wouldn't that make them into networks? And to get CIX connectivity/routing,
don't they then have to pay their own 10 k dollars and join CIX themselves?
