I promised my self not to say anymore but...

Until networking and computer technology allows the secure attachment of
corporate networks to the GII/NII/InterNet/etc. the technology will not
fullfill the promise all of us attribute to it.

Until the worms, viruses, ease of penetration, ease of email forgery etc.
are cured as well as the ability to assure private traffic, corporate
America and I am also afraid individual Amercians who care for their
privacy will use the GII for either data pipes using their own crypto
protection (and thus issolated) or as restricted email that is not
critical. Please note I am not talking about intra-corporate traffic. That
does not say that there will not be more and more small business use of the
net but the vision we all see and many of us have fought for the past 12
years will not happen and the nation/world will not benefit as all of us
help.

Time to grow up

Dave
