Gordon, I don't want to get into a useless argument with no facts
underlieing it. My PERSONAL view is that most people believe the net is
non-commercial. I live fully in that cyberspace and monitor many many lists
for my interesting_people distribution. I see the reaction to any attempt
to be commercial on many if not most of those lists. That is my source --
very pragmatic.
Anyway, I and I hope you , believe that a fully commercial network will
happen, is happening (for better or worse). That does not mean there will
not be the equivalant of NPR and that all of us will be swamped with ads
etc. Nice thing about computers is they can filter etc.
Anyway, that is my opinion.
