There is still no substitute for doing your own detailed investigation
as to where your circuts actually run. There are many shared facilities
in the telephony world, and just because you buy a T1 from MCI and another
from Cable & Wireless doesn't mean that they are not both muxed onto a
single path that is owned by Wiltel and leased to the other two.
A single case of backhoe-fade gets both of them.
