I am told that IIJ is called by some in Japan: the Great Pretender. Can
you say why? I am also told that one person who made a proposal that
was disliked by another faction received an envelope of razor blades in
his mail the next day. Apparently the Nikkei Weekly on Sunday ran a big
article called something like the internet wars in japan?
what are the barriers to decreasing the cost of leased lines? Suppose
NTT wanted to do this? Can they not do it until they educate the
ministry of postal service and telegraph on how not doing it maybe
harmful to japan?
BTW I understand that Mary Cronin's Doing Business on the Internet is
already being translated into Japanese. From what I am hearing they
can't finish this job fast enough.
