I agree it's a bug, but ...
Nobody pays Julf a cent for the service; in fact it costs him money and
time to provide it. As he points out, there *are* people who genuinely
need the service ... I believe his favorite example is people who have
been sexually abused ... or battered wives ... or something like that,
using the net as a worldwide support group.
So I think he's doing something worth doing. I'm not ready to volunteer
to fix his bug, and I'm a bit sensitive about people being critical of
others for imperfections in things they do for free. The bug isn't
really harming anybody, but a bungled attempt to fix it could destroy
someone's life.
