Unless I badly misread Strangelove's post his offer was not to the net
as a whole, but rather only to current subscribers of Internet business
Report or the Internet Letter.  Didn't it say proof of subscription
required?

I'd call it a competitive upgrade promotion.  Like send us proof of
ownership of MS Word and we'll send you Word Perfect for only x dollars.
  I wonder what percentage of his competition's subscribers read this
list or any net lists? As I have said before I estimate that only about 
a third of mine do so.

Maybe I'll do a review of the three newletters in my January issue of
the COOK Report?  <smile>
