Stephen Haynes, identifying himself as "an honorable person,"
posted a rather detailed explanation of his research into my
wife's bitnet account. Mr. Haynes notes that I brought this up
(not withstanding his numerous letters to University officials),
and correctly says that I am responsible for problems this
caused.

However, I would like to correct one point. Mr. Haynes notes
that my wife goes by her maiden name, Manon Ress. She also uses
her full name from time to time, of Manon Ress Love. Not having
the foresight to appreciate Mr. Haynes' interest, her account was
indeed fingered under Manon Ress, and it was apparently
particularly difficult for Mr. Haynes to identify her
relationship with me. Manon Ress has the right to post messages,
from her account, which she has done. (Of course, during this
period, I have held my own accounts at essential.org, compuserve
and MCI Mail.)

I will say that Mr. Haynes' title of Manager, WESTLAW Research
and Development, gives new meaning to the term Research. Perhaps
now that he has both of our full names, he can complete his
research project, wherever that may take him.
