Why Mr. Cook,
You of all people should know that back room deals helped make this
country what it is today. I would never consider that the current
provider (ANS) might attempt to make back room deals. That is unless
I had spoken to people who were directly involved in that process.
On the CIX issue: Mr. Washburn - Hello. If you are listening. Is
the spokesman for ANS correct in stating that they are active in
trying to work with you ? By Rick Adams post, it would seem not.
Who is kidding who here ? I would be willing to bet that there is
no love lost between ANS as a whole when it comes to seeing a good
relationship between ANS - PSI , Alternet and others. PSI by mere
virtue of its recent actions seems to be doing real business with
real people. If they can do it so can others.
And to cover two more areas.. Letters are enroute to the FCC to request
that they look in to regulation of this area of technology.
And on a final note,,,assuming ANS were to win the NSF sol. when
might we all see a fully functional ultra high speed backbone ?
If the winner can do it as they will have to state, will that winner
be willing to gurantee the American public - 0 - NO COST OVER RUNS ?
