    I think the term usually used for what you call "Class F" is "Class D"
    and this is tentatively reserved for multi-cast, although I don't know
    that anyone has ever deployed this feature.

SGI ships support for IP Multicast (it is used by at least the 'dogfight'
game that people were playing after house on the ShowNet in '90), and
OSPF uses it as well.
