	The reality is that AlterNet's and PSInet's NSFnet traffic is
also subsidized, just like NEARnet's.  All three networks are on an
equal footing in that regard.

	That you need an alternate backbone for certain traffic is
another issue, the same issue which faces NEARnet.

	It's just that PSInet and NEARnet have a different mix of
traffic.
