Nothing like a good flame at 1 in the morning :-)
I'm sure that the export restrictions are on actual TCP/IP implementations,
NOT on the protocol (this is similar to the restrictions on DES
implementations). Silly, I admit, but what can you do... I'm sure
that many of these issues will "go by the way-side" in years to come.
Also, I seem to remember hearing that the network code has AT&T roots...
(Ack!).
