ON LOCATION (On Technologies- Macintosh) has the BEST search engine. It's
the only way I can come up with this stuff FAST!!! I also have info on

Well, I have found Portal to be a good basic menu-driven system
for Internet mail and USENET news. (Actually, Steve Roberts turned me
on to it.) You can access them almost anywhere in the world through

Now besides this there are other places you can find lists of access
sites. There is Phil Eschallier's Nixpub list. Which is a list of
sites that run UNIX. I'm not sure the place to request it, but it's
around.
A less specific (in other words not just UNIX sites) list is called
netpub. I have a couple addresses for them.
