This decision by NEARnet, and the related decision by BARRnet, are
consistent with what I've come to expect from both of you: creative and
serious approaches to providing your users with the best possible service
*and* constructive leadership within the Internet community.
We at ANS will work with you in implementing the decision in this spirit.

Please save us the rhetoric. If BARRNet was not faced with the
limitations placed upon it by the current routing technology, I
suspect that BARRNet would have gone ahead with its previous intention
to connect directly to the CIX.
Let us now see if your actions match your glowing words. Provide us
with reliable, cost-effective access to the CIX.
