Yup. Me too. But I was talking to people motivated to be honest as
opposed to toeing some "offical line"....

Not cheating to roll-your-own, cheating to not do a by-the-book implementation,
significantly different enough to require a different CSU interface. I'm
a *BIG* proponent of rolling your own while you're figuring out a technology,
but don't think you can be seriously commerical with that approach in the long
term unless you get to write off the NRE instead of folding it back into
your ROI model.
