Gosh Gordon, that doesn't sound a bit like the ANS router setup that
Jonathan Miller of ANS described to us at a meeting last thursday. The
core routers were a collection of 3 RS/6000s and a Cisco. No mention of
Ciscos for T3 -- the cisco just distributed 56 Kbps connections.

And the new T3 interface for the RS/6000s would solve all of the small
problems that they currently have with the core routers.

He said that the RS/6000s were connected by T3. The eventual design
would have them connected by a FDDI ring.

Not a bit like that published story.
