D_____N it!!! Some of the regionals, and OARnet is one, are making
choices about who to join based not on ideology, but on economics.
I've got a big hub in Cleveland and so does ANS. You are telling me
I should run a T1 line all the way to the West Coast in order to
get interconnected to the CIX????? Get serious!! ANS should get
interconnected with the CIX, and the CIX should get interconnected
with ANS. Redundancy is nice, but cost-effective is a greater god.
And "access to commercial services" is in the eyes of the beholder.

"Do well" my <deleted>!!!! Go broke is more like it.

I believe the accepted term at this point is "flame off"???

But your point is well-taken, the regionals would do well to join CIX
for various reasons, including both access to commercial services and
	sites, and redundancy.
