I will be at Room 2325 of the Rayburn House Office Building before 9am to
cover the Hearings on the Management of the NSFnet that begin at 10 am,
 March 12th.

The hearings will be the subject of the first issue of my newsletter
 tentatively titled

The Cook Report on the Internet/NREN

I anticipate that the first issue will be at least 8 tightly packed pages
of summaries of testimony, interviews and notes on the public discussion.

I will make a further "product anouncement" to this list by March 19th
regarding frequency of publication, format, cost. and so on. I hope to
have the first issue ready for distribution by Monday March 23rd.

It would be ready sooner except that I have a travel schedule that has me
doing NREN seminars in Denver and Billings between March 14th and 17th and
at Columbia University on the 19th and 20th.

By the way I am expecting an NREN article that I have written for
Computerworld to appear as an "In Depth" in the issue of Monday March 9th.

Suggestions on my newsletter planning by private mail welcome.
