Many of us at ANS have been reading the comments regarding "COMBITs" that
have been posted during the last few months. Although we answered many of
the messages, there obviously is still a great deal of confusion and debate
about this measurement/pricing scheme, and that has convinced us to take
another look at it. We are arranging a meeting with representatives from
around the Internet community to get more input on whether or not the plan
should be changed, and if so, how should it be revised.
We've always said that we expected the plan would continue to evolve over
time, as we learned more about commercialization. Maybe it's time for the
next phase in this evolution.
At any rate, be assured that we will keep all of you current on the latest
developments.
