Ummm, this isn't necessarily true. Many carriers share long-haul
facilities, so merely buying from different providers doesn't get
you anything. When you're buying a circuit for redundancy, you have
to make sure that it actually runs a different path, and you have to
involve the technical folks from your carrier to ensure that happens.
