The National Telecommunications and Information Administration
(NTIA) presents:

              An Internet Demonstration for Government Employees

See the Internet in action on the fastest Internet link in
Washington D.C.  Learn how to use networking technologies to make
your job easier.  This event is open to all government employees
on a first-come first-serve basis.

Where:            Grand Ballroom
                  The National Press Club
                  14th and F Street, N.W.
                  Washington D.C.  20045

When:             February 23, 2:30pm - 4:00pm

                  Founder of the Internet Multicasting Service
                  Author of "Exploring the Internet"

This event will be a hands-on practical demonstration of what
Internet is and how you can use it today in your job. 
Applications will range from basic electronic mail to state- of-
the-art real-time broadcasts.  Internet software tools such as
Gopher, Mosaic, FTP and WAIS will be demonstrated.

The demonstration will be conducted by Carl Malamud, author of
seven professional reference books about computer networks and
the founder of the Internet Multicasting Service.  This service
runs the world's fist radio station over the Internet.
