The press release about Tony Rutkowski becoming Executive Director
of ISOC (congrats!) had this sentence buried in it:

> For example, in one of the Next Generation Internet Protocol
> proceedings, the power generation utility industry submitted
> comments indicating that it would like IP addresses for every
> controllable electrical device in the world.

I'm looking for more information about this. It's the sort of thing
that will get some attention around here among people who do not want
to believe the Internet is for real.

Thanks!
