Feeling Sick

I read over the reports from various lobby groups, lawyers etc. Its
curious to note that the person the NSF has in charge of the $50 million is
on the board of directors of ANS. I have to be carefull not to get sick
on my keyboard. And there is no conflict of interest here ? Who is kidding
who ?

Again, I see a deal struck that smells. I have no problem with MCI making
an offer that exceeds the sol. requirements. I do have a problem with that
offer not being disclosed to the other bidders. MCI should be considered
"non responsive" if this is what happened. A feel a protest in the wind.
MCI should expect it if they were dumb enough to protest the award made
to U.S. Sprint. A Kansas City rep. explained to me that Sprint's International
deal was under protest but, claimed he had little more info. I wonder if he
even knew what he was talking about.

Bottom line - too many back room deals between the NSF and MCI/ANS.

So Steve - Are we the people paying for both the T-3 extension and the
new vBNS at the same time ? Where will your next job be ?
