Well Doug if you are right in your assertions about the NSB open
meeting, *someone* at the BOARD made a grievous error in telling my
confederate that the meeting WOULD be held only to cancel it when he
showed up.
Next question is what does one mean by an advertised public meeting??
I was aware that there would be an OPEN session of the NSB meeting ONLY
because I asked NSB staff for a copy of the agenda. I don't think these
events are widely advertised as open to say the least. In fact I'd be
interested in hearing from folk who have made a habit of attending such
open parts of the NSB meetings. I may be mistaken and maybe LOTs of
folk do but my gut feel is that few do and that those who DO attend are
probably NOT members of the general public.
Gee maybe my next foia should be for attendance stats at NSB "open"
sessions?
RE AT&T...... I have the home telephone number of *VERY* high level AT&T
official who I happen to know does NOT read com-priv. I called him this
morning and getting his answering machine delivered a LENGHTHY monologue
about what I thought this award signalled for AT&T..... so yes, lets see
what the giant of Basking Ridge NJ does.
