My copy of the AUP says, under "Unacceptable Uses" - "11: Extensive use
for private or personal business. This applies to use of the NSFNET
Backbone only."
Surely posting to over a thousand lists was extensive, and as it was not
sanctioned by the college it was private and personal. Then again, the
AUP's going away.
