It's easy to overlook the full implications of people's actions if
one gets bogged down in principles of civil liberties. Recently
EUnet Bulgaria (connected via X.25) was attacked by malicious
mailings (yeah, believe it or not). The originator was caught, but
obviously only after the damage had been done.

That paragraph says it all.
But now we are to believe that a _System Administrator_ who wishes to
spread his Good News has all the right to push his rantings down the
throat of every single Usenet reader on earth. At their expense.
