Well, you know, Dave, the early Quakers used to go into
steeple-houses and preach against the practice of hireling priests.
Sometimes they did this during the appropriate time for laypersons to
speak, and sometimes they interrupted the service to do it.
Sometimes they got the crap beaten out of them.
Dare I suggest that Clarence is getting off easy? (which is not to
suggest that I think Clarence should be beaten, but rather to suggest
that Clarence spoke out of turn and place and should expect *some*
kind of sanction).
